Oliver is becoming much more interactive. Here he looks like he’s playing with Jimmy, but I think he really just wants to hold on to the ball before he falls backwards.

Families that came to our 4th of July Celebration (thanks Anoop for taking the pictures!) Afterwards, we went to see fireworks a mile away at the Sharon Heights Country Club. Sophie was scared, but I did convince her to peek at the last few minutes of it.

We took the kids to the Nativity Carnival a couple miles from the house and met up with some friends. Couldn’t believe that we talked Sophie into getting on one of the tamest rides there with Emma.

Went to Patxi’s Pizza in Palo Alto with the Woods. One of the better places around here for pizza. Plus it’s family friendly- Sophie and Kaitlyn playing with pizza dough.

One of the cool things about business travel is the opportunity to get out of the hotel and see some old friends. I met up with Lindsay, whom I have not seen in ages! Now she’s got a lovely husband Jonathan and and adorable daughter Avery. She took me on a run in her neighborhood up some trails to see some breathtaking views of Phoenix, then treated me to an awesome home cooked meal.
